When you create an account via our authentication provider (Clerk), we collect your email address and display name. When you use the search feature, we store your search queries and AI-generated responses to provide conversation history.

- To provide and maintain the Codewave AI search service
- To store your conversation history so you can revisit past searches
- To authenticate your account and secure your data
Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. Your search queries are sent to our AI provider (OpenAI) and web search provider (Tavily) to generate answers. These providers process queries under their own privacy policies.
Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored in a secure PostgreSQL database. We use industry-standard encryption for data in transit (HTTPS/TLS). Access to your account is managed by Clerk, a trusted third-party authentication provider.
